Poem
The Race
Sitting atop a mountain ledge
A bear and an eagle make a wager
A fish from the river is the goal
The eagle says “i'll get there first”
“I’m faster and more agile than you.”
But the bear disagreed
“I’m more powerful and resourceful than you.”
And so the race began
The bear takes off down the mountain side
Knocking down trees and animals in his way
The eagle soars gracefully through the sky
He watches the bear as he slowly makes his way to the river
The bear leaps forward as he tumbles in the river
Eagle takes notice and begins his dive
The bear uses his gigantic paws try and catch a fish
But the eagle had dove and caught the prize
The bet was won.
